Hi there, I've skied in both France and Italy - but I think I would have to say that I prefer skiing in Frances. Normally ski Portes du Soleill - plenty of runs.

I believe the Best would be Switzerland which has terrific Skiing Slopes and a number of Events too.
Next in line would be Austria , North USA ,Canada or probably Scotland .
In India you can go to Solang Nallah near Manali in Himachal Pradesh or Gulmarg in Jammu and Kashmir .
Grand targhee offers skiers and snowboarders amazing terrain and fabulous snow. Consistently winning awards and being ranked as the resort with the best snow conditions in the world. The mind boggling beautiful scenery and superb snow conditions make grand targhee the holy grail of skiing.
How about skiing on the mountain slopes of Helsinki and spending the night in an igloo?
Canada is the best place to ski I think. It has great slopes also and fresh snow.
France is definitely the spot in Europe. They have a great variety of ski fields. French Alps are better for adanced levels and Pyrenee for beginner I think!
The best thing to do is to rent a chalet there for a few days or a week. Chamonix is a good spot for families. I go there quite often and I really enjoy this place. Have a look on location-et-vacances if you are looking for good deals. Otherwise there are a lot of hotels available there.
Enjoy!
Austria has better ski resorts than france
There are bunch of beautiful skiing site all over the country and it's depend on where you located at. But if you want to travel in order to experience great skiing memories. Then I think canada and US got different good skiing site. France got good site for skiers too.
I prefer Austria personally, but I guess that's just because we were in such a nice chalet last time. Actually, if you find the right resort, any of the European countries can be amazing. Have a look on Pure Holiday Homes for some incredibly nice chalets if you have a bit of a budget, though there are some cheaper ones on there too. I would recommend the resort of Meribel if you are heading to France,
